Conjunctivitis
The sclera or white of eye is covered by transparent membrane known as the conjunctiva, which becomes inflamed easily if exposed to irritation or infection. This inflammation is called conjunctivitis. Red, itchy, burning eyes with watering inflammation is the main feature, along with sticky discharge from eyes that seals the lids together overnight.
Ayurvedic treatment consists of internal cleansing herbs to alleviate the aggravated body energies as well as the application of herbal pastes to the affected area.
